Q: I have been unable to drag items into estimates after completing my floorplans. The error message reads “To add items, you must create a new estimate or set an existing estimate as active.”
What do I need to do?
A: There are two possibilities.
- You have no estimates in the Estimates section of your claim structure. To add an estimate, right-click the word Estimates in the Claim Explorer and select “Add Structure” from the list that appears.
- You have no active estimate. The active estimate would be the one that is displayed in a bold font. To make an estimate active, right-click the estimate in the Claim Explorer and select “Set as Active” from the list that appears. Note that you may only make an estimate active if you own it.
