Create Branches in Claims Workspace™

This article explains how to create and manage Branches in Claims Workspace. Branches help organize claims by location, region, team, or operational need.


Who Can Create Branches?

Administrators can create branches.

If you don’t see the Branches menu, contact your administrator.


How to Create a New Branch

Step 1 — Go to the Branches menu

  1. Sign in to Claims Workspace as an Administrator.
  2. Click on your name in the top right corner of the screen and click on Branches from the expanded menu.
    You will see all of your current branches.


Step 2 — Add a New Branch

  1. From the Branches menu, click Create a new branch, the branch creation page will open.
  2. Similarly to creating a brand new account, enter the required information, including but not limited to:
    • Branch Name (the Company Account Name)
    • Main Contact Name
    • Address
    • Main Contact Phone and Email Address
    • Tax ID (optional)
  3. You'll be able to set up some company preferences, such as language, date format and time zone, please note that they can be changed later.
  4. You'll need to create the first administrator account for your new branch, additional users can be created later.

Once you're done, the new account will be created and automatically added as a branch of your main account.
Newly created branches will appear in the branch list in the Branches menu.


Removing a Branch

Important: Removing a branch from your account does not delete the account.

You will need to contact us if you want to remove a branch from your account. Contact Claims Support


FAQs

I don’t see the Branches option.
You may not have the required permissions, please contact your company administrator.


Do I have to add a credit card on my new branch account to make it Active?
Yes — you will need to add a valid credit to make your new branch account Active.


Can I rename a branch later?
Yes — renaming does not affect existing claims.


Do branches affect reporting?
Yes — branch values appear in reports and exports.
