This error is caused when the user is using a proxy server and their username\password store in mobile claims is not accepted as a valid authentication by the proxy server. To correct this issue the user needs to go into >> Tools | Preferences | Connections tab enter a valid username and password. Typically this is the same username/password they logon to their computer or connect to a corporate VPN with. It s not at all related to the username/password used to logon to Mobile Claims or Symbility.NET.

- This error can be caused by a firewall application installed on the user’s computer.
- This error can also be caused if the user’s company requires a proxy server to connect to the Internet and this has not been configured in Mobile Claims. The user should configured the correct proxy settings in >> Tools | Preferences.| Connections. The correct proxy settings can be found in the configuration options for their normal Internet browser.

It may be that the user’s computer has the incorrect date and time. Ensure that the user has the correct time zone selected as well.
Very rarely this error has also been known to occur if the user has an invalid certificate on their computer or if the certificate for the host site has expired. Replacing the invalid certificate with a valid certificate from another computer can resolve a local the issue . If the problem is the website itself, you will need to contact the website administrator. You can verify the website's security at https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/.

This error can be caused if the user’s company requires a proxy server to connect to the internet and this has not been configured in Mobile Claims. The user should configured the correct proxy settings in Tools | Preferences.| Connection .The correct proxy settings can be found in the configuration options for their normal Internet browser. This error may also be caused by a slow Internet connection – typically satellite or dial up speed or slower.

The error code (0x800401f3) means that a COM class could not be found in the registry. This can happen if one of the PocketSOAP DLL's (pSOAP32.dll, pocketHTTP.dll or psDime.dll) is unregistered. A user with administrator rights on the computer needs to complete the following steps:
- Open command prompt
- Go to the mClaim installation folder (C:\Program Files\Symbility Mobile Claims or C:\Program Files (x86)\Symbility Mobile Claims)
- Type: regsvr32 pocketHTTP.dll
- Type: regsvr32 pSOAP32.dll
- Type: regsvr32 psDime.dll
0x80044309
The error code 0x80044309 occurs when trying to sync in the Manage Claim Ownership function using the wrong version of Mobile Claims.

User is using Windows 98 or earlier. Only Windows XP and later is supported.

This error may be caused by Personal firewall. The user needs to configure mClaim.exe to have full access.
0x80044240 or 0x80044401
The user’s installed version of Mobile Claims is too old and cannot be updated. User needs to download and reinstall the application from Symbility.NET.
0x80072afc
User requires a proxy server when connecting from the office. Outside the office a proxy may not be needed but Mobile Claims may still be configured to use a proxy. In Tools |Preferences | Connections, uncheck Use Proxy Server .

This error can be triggered under windows 10, mclaims.exe needs to be run as administrator

This error is caused by some DLLs not being correctly registered. A user with administrator rights on the computer needs to complete the following steps:
- Open command prompt
